Danubius Lofts – Original Building from 1909

Danubius Lofts is not being created as a new-build development with an industrial look. It is being created through the sensitive transformation of an authentic historic building, whose unique character remains preserved for future generations.

Part of this philosophy is preserving the original reinforced concrete structures, historic elements, and materials to the greatest extent possible. In some places, subtle irregularities, colour variations, or natural traces of time may therefore be visible. These are not imperfections or construction defects, but an authentic expression of the building’s more than century-long history.

Concrete that has survived an entire century, original structures, and preserved architectural details create a character that cannot be replicated. Each space carries its own signature and recalls the industrial past of the place.
