New D2 Motorway Connection for Dúbravka

Good news for future residents of Dúbravka. The Slovak government is moving forward with the long-awaited project to connect the district directly to the D2 motorway.

The National Motorway Company has already announced a public tender for the construction of the new D2 Dúbravka junction, which will significantly improve transport accessibility across the entire area.

What Will the New Connection Bring?

  • access from the Na Lúke project to the motorway by car in under 10 minutes
  • a faster connection to the D2 motorway towards Brno and Bratislava city centre
  • smoother traffic in the western part of the city and relief for currently congested roads
  • greater comfort for Dúbravka residents in their daily commute
  • increased attractiveness of the location for both living and investment

An Investment in the Future

The project follows the ongoing modernisation of the D2 motorway near Lamač. Connection points for the future junction are already being prepared as part of the reconstruction, allowing construction to continue smoothly. The project is expected to be completed in 2029.
Dúbravka is developing dynamically. In addition to high-quality civic amenities, plenty of greenery, and excellent public transport accessibility, the district will also gain a new direct connection to the D2 motorway in the coming years. This strategic investment will increase living comfort and the long-term value of properties in this popular Bratislava district.
